DPF200 is a manual depaneling tool designed by Piergiacomi to meet the depaneling needs of small production runs, where using pliers could damage the product and an automatic system would not justify the amortization cost.

The main feature of the DPF200 is the ability to quickly change both the cutter and the tool. The tool helps the operator easily position the PCB and then guide the circuit toward the cutter. Its specific shape prevents damage to the circuit even if the operator misaligns it or if it doesn't perfectly match the inner guide track. The design also provides full protection against potential incidents in compliance with safety standards.

Piergiacomi developed this new DPF200 to solve issues related to stress, breakage, or fiber damage in PCBs—problems that often occur when using standard blades or manual tools. With increasing complexity and miniaturization in electronics, such defects are no longer acceptable.

DPF200 cuts the tabs with the same quality as an automatic system, but at a significantly lower cost.
